Welcome to Rowlestone Court

Our family has farmed at Rowlestone Court for more than 80 years, since Mark's grandfather William Bowen Williams founded a herd of Dairy Short Horns at the farm in 1932. We have always felt very lucky to live in such a beautiful place and we want to share it with visitors of all ages.

Take a stroll through the woodlands and meadows, passing ponds in the wild garden whilst taking in the majestic views of the Black Mountains. See the cows which provide the milk and cream for our award-winning Farmhouse Ice Cream made by hand in a range of mouth-watering flavours. After a long walk or a short stroll, stop by our café and enjoy cakes, pastries, a freshly brewed pot of tea or coffee, a light lunch, or a delicious ice cream or vegan friendly sorbet. We endeavour to cater for all tastes and dietary requirements. Our walks and play areas are open to all and some areas have wheelchair access. You are welcome to bring your dog - but it must be on a lead please!

In 2005, we joined Defra's environmental stewardship scheme and have made our farm an accessible and enjoyable place to visit. We have renovated stone buldings that were formerly grandfather's milking parlour and now house our ice cream production room and cafe. The adjoining Stable meadow has become a CL campsite complete with a childens play area. We have sown a wildflower meadow, layed down paths through a native-species garden extending into ancient semi-natural woodland, restored our orchard and hedges, and have made many other changes that enhance the conservation and biodiversity of this area. Our project is supported by grant-aid from Defra's Rural Enterprise Scheme.

Why not stay with us on our certified campsite? Enjoy the tranquility, fresh air and spectacular views. We look forward to seeing you!

DON'T FORGET! You are welcome to bring your dog - but it must be on a lead please!
